Then we finish the day with Uchisar Castle. This tall rock, the highest point in the Goreme region, is a 25-story beehive of cave rooms that make up an underground city that reaches the sky. It was used as a castle during the Roman, Byzantine and Seljuk periods. The view of the Cappadocian countryside from here is amazing and amazing. This city is about 40 meters deep and contains all the usual rooms located in an underground city (stables, cellars, storage rooms, restaurants, churches, wineries, etc.).
